A blockchain expert and PhD from Stanford University, Elaine works closely with Toufi and Dann on Privacy Shell’s crypto/blockchain innovations, as well as helping structure inventions and architecting mission critical software. Before her PhD Elaine attended Harvard and the California Institute of Technology.
Chairman of the board of directors at TodaCorp and head of the advisory board at PrivacyShell, Todd brings over 30 years experience in Information Security, including Vice-Chairman of Intel Security and Co-President of McAfee, to advise on the management and direction of Privacy Shell Inc.
Technopreneur, track record in AI, Machine Learning & cryptography, Toufi built & sold IP that ended up at Google, OpenText, HP. He is CEO @ TodaCorp & PrivacyShell, Chair at ACM PB CC and a board member to several tech ventures including Whoknows (Intel Company) & advisor to several F500 companies.
Dann has built mission critical applications for Fortune 500, NASA and dozens of startups, in problem spaces like distributed systems, programming language semantics, data visualization and database design. He manages a number of technical communities and is a strong advocate of open source and responsible software. As CTO of Privacy Shell he oversees development and innovation within our products and partner companies.
A recipient of the Mathematics Open Scholarship from the government of Trinidad and Tobago, Alyssa attends Stanford University for her bachelor studies. At Privacy Shell, Alyssa creates impactful privacy content driving Privacy Shell's page rank and mission of privacy and security for all.
Amy’s work experience stretches across the globe and includes time in Dubai, accross Europe and Canada. Amy’s passions lie within the latest technologies, software development, personal development and content creation, which she brings to the table as one of Privacy Shell’s powerful developers.
Ruben, the night-owl, is a machine learning software engineer who loves tackling real world problems through code. He has worked in bioinformatics, anomaly detection, quantitative finance and AI. Ruben is considered an ethical hacker using his talents to enhance privacy and liberty for all users of the World Wide Web.
Having a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and extensive experience in signal processing, Asif works closely with Toufi and Dann on adaptive Machine Learning Verification Algorithm for R3Verified.
Brianna will be pursuing her PhD in Communication and Culture at York University after completing her MA at the University of Colorado Boulder. Working as Privacy Shell’s lead editor, Bri has previous experience teaching university courses in organizational group interaction and communication theory.
CTO @ FinaSafe & creator of EveryBit.js, a Secure Distributed Publishing Platform and core component of FinaSafe on Ethereum Blockchain. Matt has a background in journalism, decentralization, and web design. He has a degree in Statistics from UoT and spent several years creating complex biological and financial simulations using R.
Prior to Privacy Shell’s conception, Rolande founded and grew a software company to profitability in 2009. With staggering growth of 50% every year, Rolande has experience signing major accounts like: CIBC, TD, LVMH and dozens of worldwide customers–– mainly in France.
Hassan brings a wealth of financial knowledge to Privacy Shell companies. CEO of Quantius, the leading global IP Bank, ex McKinsey. Prior to that was crypto expert at Canadian Forces doing some anti terror missions that we are not supposed to talk about
Before Privacy Shell, Kristel gathered a wealth of knowledge and experience in product as well as graphic design. Her knowledge of UX design and software development allow her to create data driven strategies, but Kristel’s real talent lies in the beautiful graphic designs she creates for Privacy Shell’s businesses.
A former Australian Federal Agent in Computer Crime, Qualified Lawyer, and Cybercrime Lecturer, Bradley completed his Master’s degree in National Security at American Military University before going on to do his post-graduate work in Digital Education Delivery at Pennsylvania State University.
An Electrical Engineering alumnus from the University of Waterloo, Ian has worked for Apple as well as in the mining, aerospace, and manufacturing industries. When not advising or writing for Privacy Shell, Ian works on various electrical and software projects relating to the music, health, and IoT devices.
Krystina is a Legal Studies and Sociology graduate with a passion for advocacy in international contexts. She has previously worked and volunteered in fields dealing with crime awareness, victimization, and corporate litigation. Krystina joins onto Privacy Shell while continuing her education in the legal field.
A member of TD’s Wealth Management team, Jitesh is a life long learner with a passion for people, communication and privacy. Having much success and experience in the banking industry, Jitesh comes back to his roots to write on the various issues that surround users online privacy today.
Matt believes in carving emotions out of words, not describing them. Matt spent his initial year studying physics at UWaterloo before completing his undergraduate in English. He is currently pursuing a Masters’ in English Literature at the University of Toronto while contributing as an editor for Privacy Shell.
An eclectic professional, Khanh is developing his business knowledge while concurrently pursuing innovative opportunities at Privacy Shell. Specifically, Khanh is involved in the development and realization of CryptoMotion.
Ravi is interested in the intersections between the Internet and the real world; that is, how technology fundamentally shifts personal data and our private lives to become more accessible, effecting our privacy in a digital age. While a passion of his is writing, Ravi’s real prowess lies in B2C and B2B sales.
A recent graduate of the University of Waterloo, Yasmin Shamat is now the Coordinator, Student Relations at the Student Success Office for the University of Waterloo. She loves connecting with other people, learning what’s important to them, and understanding how they interact with the world.
Baiju Patel graduated from the University of Waterloo with a passion to connect, but realizes the risks involved in growing a large network. Baiju joins us at Privacy Shell because he wants to participate in growing the global tech village, but at the same time, wants to ensure it can happen in a safe environment.
Leo is a hardcore developer who works closely with Dann and Toufi building and testing TODA Android mobile Crypto wallets.
A recent graduate of Waterloo, Kaavia spends her time gaining knowledge of new social media strategies and writing about her experiences with some media publications. In addition, Kaavia has a passion for helping others and bringing the right attention to talented souls. She joins Privacy Shell to learn new things and to find her passion for life.
Kevin graduated from Legal Studies at the University of Waterloo. He has always been fascinated by the ever evolving interaction between people and technology, specifically within the developments of online communities. Before joining Privacy Shell, Kevin was a legal support volunteer working specifically in refugee support.
Olivier is one of the top browser engineers, implementing some of Mozilla’s core elements like the content serving back-end service, content ingestion back-end, and the Firefox client data service. Olivier works closely with Toufi on the overall technical strategy for several Privacy Shell’s companies.
While was working on Game Theory, Adam worked closely with Toufi on some cool AI projects and joined forces again with TodaQ to apply his Machine Learning expertise, cryptography and other fun stuff
Abdullah is a super mobile developer working on Microsoft’s leading OneNote platform. Prior to software engineering for Microsoft, Abdullah co-founded Liquid Labs.
Andrew brings a wealth of experience in consulting from time with Deloitte and banking firms in Toronto and Chicago. Andrew is in charge of 3 leading fiat processing credit cards: Moneris, corporate on Diners Club, and cash management.
Chelsea is a business strategist, data scientist, former defence researcher, and blockchain enthusiast employed with a Fortune 500 company. A graduate of University of Waterloo and York University, Chelsea advises Privacy Shell on TodaCoin, TodaCorp, and the Privacy Shell Fund.
Suhail is a Data Scientist with expertise in differential privacy and deep learning. Suhail, works closely with Dann and Toufi on algorithms, protocols, identifying attack vectors for todacoin, and solutions with R3verified.
PhD in Cryptography, Saeed is the crypto-brain, careful crypto-auditor and continues to be well versed in research. Saeed works closely with Toufi and enjoys brainstorming sessions with many of the CTOs and researchers at Privacy Shell.
Most of Alex's career has revolved around cultivating the potential business value of new technologies, especially in order to build trust. Most recently, he was the founding CTO of PRESTO, Ontario's new, automated transit fare collection system.
Bill’s career includes more than 30 years of distinguished accomplishments, including roles as President and CEO of RadialPoint and as EVP of McAfee’s Worldwide Consumer Business. He join's Privacy Shell as an advisor, presently working with Finasafe Inc.
Eyal strives to consistently produce top quality products by galvanizing team members, facilitating smooth communication, and ensuring close collaboration between dev and other departments to meet the needs of the business.
A tech wizard, Tim is deeply immersed in the DocuString secure file-transfering project. In this project, Tim handles many facets including ensuring the security of files that transfer through Docustring's system.
Jim is a long time developer who has worked on a broad range of tasks. Coupled with his insatiable curiosity about the world and consequent broad learning, he is well positioned to deal with complex projects.
Victoria is finishing up her degree in English Literature and Journalism from Ryerson University. When Victoria is not writing, she is doing her best to help the environment, as well as the non-profit foundation Random Acts of Kindness. Utilizing her post-secondary education, Victoria produces content for Privacy Shell.
